My collection
This is my small but growing collection of sets from the Chaturanga Family. I still have to photograph a few of them.
I left out plastic sets or sets that are too similar.

This is an absolutely beautiful big set. The king is about 4.5" tall.

A cast set of traditional style sittuyin pieces.

Hand carved pieces in painted maple wood. The kanji are written with urushi.

A hardwood set of exquisitely carved Moro pieces. Bought from the region they were made in.

A fantastic hand-carved set of Mongolian Shatar pieces.

A cast set of the famous Isle of Lewis chessmen. They are scaled to the original pieces I believe. The king is about 3.5" tall

The wonderfully carved set of Makruk pieces I got from Thailand.

One of the most detailed sets of Bali pieces I have come across. The King is about 5" tall.

A cast Hiashatar set. Lovely smaller scale set.

Wood Janggi sets that are nicely done are hard to come by outside of Korea. This one is semi-mass produced, but still hand carved. Although the carvings feel slightly rushed on some pieces.
